Jacqueline Mitts

Long-time p/hop supporter Bronagh Miskelly aka lapurplepenguin has designed and donated the pattern for these stylish and practical fingerless mittens.

The ribbed cuff can be shortened or folded to the length you want, the palms are smooth and practical, and the cable design is a little like an Argyle sock design. The cable design is made up of simple two-stitch cables so is straightforward even if you are new to cables.

What you need to get started:

  • Yarn: 40g/ 1.4oz 4-ply sock yarn (160m/ 175yards), lighter and semi-solid colours will show the pattern best
  • 2.25mm/ US1 double pointed needles

All patterns have been generously donated to the project by MSF supporters and are available for your knitting pleasure. In return, we ask that you make a donation to p/hop based on the hours of enjoyment you will get from knitting these patterns.
