Glasnevin 5

The lovely Yvonne McSwiney from Dublin Dye has donated this beautiful one skein shawl. Here’s more from Yvonne about her donation to p/hop.

Glasnevin is a semi circular shawl, knit from the neck down, with a leafy pattern that reminds me of spring, and trees growing new leaves. The shawl starts as a typical triangular shawl, but then the leaf pattern develops using pi method to grow the leaves. Glasnevin is the location of Dublin Botanic Garden, home to many new leaves.

All patterns have been generously donated to the project by designers to raise funds for MSF and are available for your knitting and crocheting pleasure. In return, we ask that you make a donation to p/hop based on the hours of enjoyment you will get from these patterns. p/hop is based on an honesty box system and the amount you donate is completely up to you! Making your donation is easy.

It’s easy to make your donation for your p/hop pattern, just click on the button below.  You can donate in UK Pounds, Euros, US Dollars, HKD, SGD, CAD, AED and AUD.

I live in Sweden and the donation page seems a bit complicated for me. I will make a donation to the Swedish MSF instead, I hope that is alright.

Hello! I don’t have a credit card and therefore cannot donate on the page of the “Make your donation”-button, but I made a donation on the German MSF-website instead. Thank you to the designer for the contribution of the pattern, and thank you to MSF for their important work around the world. 🙂
