Wrapping Up 2016

Morning, it’s hard to believe we are at the end of the year already! I hope you’re having a lovely calm Sunday with a hot drink and a bit of relaxing crochet or knitting to hand.

We had four new designs donated by four different designers; Ember, Staircase Mitts, Textured Mitts for Men, and Endless Summer.

With the help of my generous knit group, we made it up to Woolfest for my first show as an exhibitor with p/hop. While there some of our designers and volunteers really helped to make sure the p/hop stand looked well and was well looked after. Then in July volunteers came to the rescue again to set up and look after the p/hop stand at Fibres East while the littlest volunteer was joining the world. Our final event, Festiwool, was a new one to p/hop and it was brilliant. The littlest volunteer and her auntie, helped to set up and look after our stand. It was a small but very friendly event where we got to speak to surrounding stall holders for a change.

While there hasn’t been much time to update the blog or Ravelry, there’s plans for both in the new year. In the meantime, pop over to the p/hop Facebook page, twitter account and the new Instagram account to catch up with what is going on.

Thanks for stopping by to have a read and for your support both on and offline this year.

If you are still working on handmade presents, may your needles/hooks/sewing machines fly like the wind! Wishing you all a peaceful holiday season.
