Fibre Flurry…Pics!!
So, my last show of the year (and I had to borrow all these pictures because I was too busy!!!) took me to Kings Norton, in Birmingham this weekend, to Fibre Flurry sharing my stand with Nic from NicsKnots.
I had a *fantastic* time, met lots of awesome Knitterly peeps and spent some proper quality time with my best friends. This was my fourth show, and has been the best one yet *GRiN*, although I did miss my best friend Lottie a LOT…but she was needed more elsewhere.
As you all know from my previous blog posts, my supplier and friend Andy Robinson lost all of his white wool stocks in a fire at his storage facility. Knitters are wonderful at supporting each other and their friends, and a secret plan was hatched on Ravelry to make him a blanket, a Barn Raising blanket no less *winks* Anyway, it was presented to him at Fibre Flurry, and he was more than suitably gob-smacked
The highlight of the day, for me, was winning this awesome prize in the p/hop raffle
I never win anything, srsly, so I was more than suitably gob smacked as I watched Clare draw my name out of the bucket, then tell me I could choose whatever I liked off the prize table!!!!
WooHoo!!!
It is so warm, and I feel like I am being hugged when I snuggle up in it
Thankyou lovely p/hop knitters for making it…it’s being loved a whole lot at the moment!!!
